FAQ

Where do we drop off and pick up from?

Adventure Days usually meet and drop off at the Venture Centre in Maughold. Occassionaly we ask for the children to be picked up or dropped off at the Mooragh Park in Ramsey if we are doing watersports at the beginning or the end of the day.

What do we need to bring?

Our programme for each day is flexible allowing us to make the best of the weather conditions each day. Each day you should bring a spare set of clothes in case we get wet, including full set of clothes and robust shoes to wear in the water.

You should also bring; water bottle, packed lunch, extra warm layer, bag with spare set of clothes inside, shoes that can get wet, coat, suncream and any medication.

Is food provided?

We do not provide lunch so you will need to bring a hearty packed lunch for the day and a refillable water bottle. There will be plenty of oppurtunity to refill drinks bottles throughout the day.

What is the minimum age for the days?

We cannot take unaccompanied children under the age of 9 for our adventure days. Please respect this. If you are looking for something for younger children to do then we offer short watersports sessions for 6-9year olds, contact us to discuss your requirements.

What happens in case of bad weather?

We are very flexible in our approach to the programming of the days and will adapt to suit the demands of the weather. We have large indoor areas where we can run activities from if the weather is particulay bad.
