The Venture Centre Accessibility Statement
At The Venture Centre we strive to cater for everybody.
We have one accessible bedroom on the ground floor with an accessible en-suite bathroom. Most other dormitories are also on the ground floor some with steps.
The 2 lounges are upstairs. There is no lift.
The dining rooms are on the ground floor and have step free access
There is ample parking on site.
Access to the Centre
The Electric railway from Douglas which stops adjacent to the centre can put on an accessible carriage by prior arrangement.
The bus stop is approx ½ mile from the centre although if travelling from Douglas the getting off point may be unsuitable for those with mobility issues. Many of the Taxis have accessible facilities but should be booked in advance.
